Diminished ovarian reserve or low ovarian reserve (Diminished Ovarian Reserve)

Nowadays, it can occur due to many reasons and can lead to infertility. The underlying causes may be a cyst or mass occupying space in the ovary, treatments that negatively affect the ovary, cancer or chromosomal abnormalities that cause to ovarian failure.

Nutrition, lifestyle, weight, smoking, environmental exposures may also be the cause. Sometimes a cause may not be detected. Under 40 years of age, it is important not only in terms of fertility and infertility but also in terms of early menopause. Ovarian reserve can be checked with AMH or ultrasonography.

Egg Retrieval OPU and Egg Freezing (Oocyte Cryopreservation) can be performed to preserve future fertility.
